Where can hospice care be delivered in Tucson?
Hospice care in Tucson is delivered wherever the patient lives, including a private home, an assisted living center or home, or a nursing home; Arizona's rules let a personal care or directed care facility keep a resident who receives services from a licensed hospice agency.
Medicare's hospice benefit pays the hospice team, related drugs and equipment; it does not pay assisted living room and board.
